What is the CTC?
The CTC is a safe space developed for personal growth and creativity as a dancer and musician. Here we work to fully embody the joy of dance as we express ourselves through the authentic rhythm of our heart and soul. In addition to a student’s weekly technique classes at their home studio, we provide in depth and focused study in musicality and performance.
Our aim is to hone a dancer’s ability to be well versed in all styles of Tap dance with a strong and solid foundation in rhythm, music, and history.
With a variety of performance opportunities, our company members showcase the range of tap dance choreography throughout history while increasing their own creative abilities through improvisation and collaborative work.

The CTC is always looking for dancers. While we are a professional level company, dancers of all ages and levels are welcome (16+ unless approved by Directors). Monthly rehearsals are open, meaning we welcome any dancers looking for more Tap in their lives, as well as dancers looking to join future performances.
Open rehearsals are the 2nd Saturday of the month from 11am-1pm in Hartford. $25 drop-in rate.
